- Registration
- The event organizer needs an event permit, and each practitioner needs a Temporary Body Art Booth Permit and must work in a permitted booth (one practitioner per booth). Apply at least 30 days before the event; booth permits are issued only after the organizer is approved. Required documents include an infection prevention control plan, the practitioner registration certificate, bloodborne pathogens training and hepatitis B status.
- Renewal
- A Temporary Body Art Booth Permit is valid for 7 days in a 90-day period, or the event's duration, whichever is shorter.
- Training / BBP
- Bloodborne Pathogens Exposure Control training certificate and proof of hepatitis B vaccination status.
