- Registration
- Every body art practitioner working in Los Angeles County must register with the County. Registration requires government photo ID (18 or older), a recent passport-style photo, proof of a Los Angeles County-approved bloodborne pathogen training, and hepatitis B vaccination status or the County declination form. Work only at a permitted permanent or temporary body art facility.
- Renewal
- Practitioner registration must be renewed annually (California HSC §119306(f)).
- Training / BBP
- Los Angeles County-approved Bloodborne Pathogen Exposure Control training, completed within the last 12 months (registration form). Hepatitis B vaccination status or the County declination form.
